What we know about you, and who sees it.
Effective October 8, 2026.
What we collect
When you sign up: your email address, and if you use Google, the name and profile picture Google gives us. We use your email to send you sign-in codes and receipts. There is no password.
When you use ShoutOrbit: your handle, display name, the channels you declare, the Orbits you open, the bids and pitches you write, and the links you submit.
When you pay: Stripe collects your card or bank details. We never see your full card or account number. We keep Stripe's references for the payment so we can charge it if your bid wins, or refund it.
When you save a card or bank account for a bid: its type (card or bank account), the card brand or bank name, its last four digits, and Stripe's fingerprint for it. The fingerprint is how we stop a card or bank account that was barred for an unpaid winning bid from being used again, even on another account.
When you pay by bank: bids above $300 are paid from a US bank account you connect through Stripe Financial Connections. If your bid wins, we ask Stripe for the account's balance before taking the payment, so a payment that would bounce is caught first. The connection shows us the balance and nothing else — no transactions — and we use it for that check only.
When a winning bid goes unpaid: if your payment fails for a reason on your side, we tell you, and it isn't fixed in time — or your bank sends a payment back — we record a strike against your account and against that card or bank account. A strike counts for six months.
Automatically: the usual server logs — IP address, browser, pages visited — kept briefly for security and debugging. We do not run advertising trackers.
What is public
An Orbit page is public. If you bid, your handle, your pitch, and your link appear on it while bidding is open. When bidding ends, the winning bids stay on the page, ranked where they finished, and the rest come off it. Listings paid for before October 8, 2026 stay too. Think of a pitch as something you are publishing.
Your bid amount is shown only while bidding is open, and only if you are in a slot. Amounts below the cutoff are never shown.
Your email address is never public. Creators see the handle and pitch, not the email behind them.
Who we share it with
Stripe, to take payments, to connect and check bank accounts (Stripe Financial Connections), and to pay creators. Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES), to send email. Google, if you sign in with Google or verify a YouTube channel. Vercel and Neon, which host the site and the database. Google's AI, which reads pitches and links to check them against our rules before they appear.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Creators receive a list of who bid on their Orbit: handle, pitch, link, and amount. They do not receive your email.
We send sign-in codes, receipts, and the emails an Orbit needs — bidding open, outbid, closing, charged, a payment that needs fixing, published. If you follow a creator, we email you when they open an Orbit. Every follow email has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies
One cookie, to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no third-party advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Account details for as long as your account is open. Payment records for 7 years, because tax law requires it. A strike counts against you for six months; a card or bank account it bars stays barred until the date we told you. Bids still public after bidding ends stay on the Orbit page, without their amounts, unless the creator removes them or you ask us to.
Your choices
To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, email yashsarwaiyaa@gmail.com. We will answer within 30 days. Deleting an account removes your email and profile; payment records we are required to keep stay, without your name attached where the law allows.
ShoutOrbit is for people 18 and over. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Who is responsible
Profound AI Solutions LLC, USA. Your data is stored on servers in the United States. If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email you first.
